Responsibilities: Complete general ledger balancing and financial statement preparation Complete monthly accounting close, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations Process annual year-end close Provide cost accounting on finished and in-process product Analyze inventory, identifying solutions to deviations Perform financial analysis as requested Make recommendations to improve accounting and control procedures Manage inventory with standard costing knowledge with an automated barcoding system Perform other duties and projects as assigned Requirements : Bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting or related field 5 years of accounting experience 3 years of cost accounting Manufacturing accounting preferred Inventory experience Sage 100 experience preferred Work Model: On-Site Company Description Palmer Group is a premier employment agency.
