H2I Group is seeking a Certified Payroll Specialist, with 4+ years of experience reviewing and approving Certified Payroll Reports and associated documents for construction projects. This person will work closely with project teams (Project Managers, and Subcontractors).
The right candidate enjoys taking ownership of a function, is a quick learner, possesses a positive team player attitude, has strong organizational skills, and with the ability to multi-task.
Duties And Responsibilities
Strong experience in Certified Payroll, CA Prevailing Wage, Davis Bacon, LCP Tracker, DIR system, or an equivalent upload process.
Full knowledge of labor compliance forms such as DAS140, DAS142, Fringe Benefit Statements, Labor Law Checklists, CAC2, and Union Status Letters.
Experience with Union payroll and associated fringe benefits is a plus but is not required.
Understanding of Union Fringe Benefit reporting is a plus but is not required.
Experience with Subcontractor compliance and certified payroll tracking & auditing.
Knowledge of California Public Works Apprenticeship Requirements and the California Skilled and Trained Workforce Requirements.
Knowledge of multi-state prevailing wage and certified payroll reporting requirements.
Key Job Requirements
4+ years' experience encompassing certified payroll and prevailing wage within the construction industry
Past experience within Viewpoint is a plus but is not required
Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently
Demonstrated ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and take on new responsibilities
Effective communication skills with the ability to interpret and explain complex data
