Overview

Oversees a team of technicians on a project site to plan, prepare, install, program, repair, troubleshoot and otherwise work with Proptech devices and software.



Responsibilities

Involved and hands-on in the installation of low voltage Proptech systems for MDU to include all the following:

  • Installation of structured cabling, Installing, terminating, and testing of copper and SM fiber Horizontal and Riser systems.
  • Oversee crew installations by planning and executing scope of work efficiently.
  • Supervise MDU Technicians on multiple projects in the region and communicate expectations throughout the project.
  • Support team by mentoring, training, and developing future lead technicians.
  • Install and Support Smart locks by Yale, Allegion, Dormakaba, Assa Abloy.
  • Install and Support Smart thermostats by Resideo
  • Install and Support Smart leak detectors by Resideo.
  • Electronic access control certified by Brivo, PDK, Dormakaba, Allegion or equal.
  • Electrified door hardware installation and support experience in the MDU environment. (Mags, strikes, rex, crash bars, electrified hinges.) 2yrs minimum, new construction and retrofit.
  • Guest entry system installation and programming experience with Butterfly, Comelit, or equal.
  • CCTV installation and programming experience with Hanwha, Axis, or equal camera system in the MDU environment.
  • A/V automation installation and programming experience in the MDU environment with Control4 or equal.
  • High-end A/V residential installation experience a plus.
  • Experienced with 3rd party Property Management software and proptech software SaaS companies like Geokey, SmartRent, STRATIS, Rently, Latch, etc.
  • Must be willing to travel 25-50% within their time zone region and up to 25% outside of their time zone region with 2-week notice.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications



  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Previous low voltage installation experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience as an Installer for low voltage proptech systems.
  • OSHA 10 training is preferred
