Job Description Job Description Description: Job Summary: The Advertising Sales Account Executive is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients and driving sales across all platforms to achieve revenue targets and meet company sales objectives. Bethesda Magazine and MoCo360 are owned by Today Media, a leading publisher of regional lifestyle magazines, business publications and websites across multiple markets. Essential Job Functions: Generate revenue through direct sales of advertising and sponsorships on brand platforms and programmatic advertising solutions Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and cold calling Prepare and present sales proposals Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients Meet or exceed sales targets regularly Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful implementation of solutions Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities Network and promote a positive and consistent brand image on behalf of the company In addition to the essential functions listed above, the employee is expected to exercise honesty, integrity and respect with all clients and co-workers, maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, demonstrate a positive attitude, communicate effectively with co-workers and clients, work with accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail, respect the work environment and keep it as environmentally friendly as possible, and exercise initiative to learn new skills and tasks and to help co-workers when possible. Reliable attendance and punctuality are also required. The employee is also expected to perform such other duties and functions as required from time to time. Requirements: At least 2-3 years sales, customer service or business development experience A record of driving business growth and and exceeding sales goals Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients Ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop strategies to drive sales Proven ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines Strong negotiation skills to close deals and achieve revenue targets Live in the Washington, D.C., area (preferably in Montgomery County), and possess a strong commitment to serving the community Qualified candidates should submit a cover letter and resume to jennifer.farkasmoco360.media.
