Overview

The objective of the Field Support Coordinator (Shop Dispatch) is to act as the primary resource for Fleet/DOT compliance within the Gulf region, supporting construction field operations as well as performing duties that assist the maintenance department and RES internal asset fleet.



Responsibilities

Asset Management and Utilization

  • Provides location tracking of equipment/inventory across shops and projects.
  • Manages available assets/inventory to ensure full utilization.
  • Secures/manages requests for rental equipment.
  • Tracks and ensures Gulf Coast asset utilization.
  • Works to ensure shared availability of equipment and vehicles throughout the Gulf Coast Region.

Fleet and Logistics

  • Dispatch of fleet assets, scheduling and working with internal and third-party vendors for mobilization of assets.
  • Secures project-related materials and schedules deliveries as required.
  • Provides assistance with vehicle licensing of the fleet.
  • Manages ticketing assignments for materials and equipment repairs.

Maintenance and Repairs

  • Works with OEMs and third-party vendors for any outsourced parts/repairs.
  • Works with operations personnel to ensure adequate timing/scheduling for PM services aligning with RES/OEM set maintenance schedules, utilizing the Garage Management System.

Compliance and Tracking

  • Ensures compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations.
  • Ensures compliance with the electronic tracking of assets, vehicles, and equipment through selected platforms.

Administrative Support

  • Various administrative duties.

Qualifications



We would like to talk to you if you have many of the following:

  • High School Diploma.
  • 2 years working in a dispatch or fleet support role.
  • Expert knowledge of construction materials/machinery and vehicles.
  • Valid drivers license with acceptable MVR
  • DOT, FMCSA, CDL industry experience.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office and online tools/platforms.
  • Strong communication skills.

What will make you stand out?

• Experience in construction operations or fleet.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Experience with commercial driving, dispatch, fleet, or construction management.

Physical demands:

  • Ability to climb into machines.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
