Job Description Job Description PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to): The Product Manager takes complete ownership and oversight of all aspects of their products. They are responsible for both product planning and product marketing. This includes managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with all necessary groups to create, market and deliver winning products. It also includes working with sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager’s job also includes ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the company’s overall strategy and goals. · Define the product strategy and roadmap · Deliver product requirements with prioritized features and corresponding justification · Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities · Be an expert with respect to the product, market, and competition · Become technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for product, product specifications and industry standards · Develop business case and marketing plans · Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product · Perform product demos to customers · Respond to RFPs and other technical requests · Assist in the development of sales tools and collateral · Brief and train the sales force at quarterly sales meeting · Act as a leader within the company REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: · Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Excellent teamwork skills · Proven ability to influence cross-functional technical, marketing and sales teams without formal authority · Excellent public speaking and presentation skills · Examples and at least one sample of an effective document delivered in the past EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: · Technical bachelor’s degree · Minimum of 5 years experience as a Product Manager · 5 years of experience in the telecommunications market · Experience in RCS, IMS and Messaging technology · Agile development methodologies OTHER: · May require travel and/or being on-call · May require working in excess of 40 hours / week · Physical requirements: Ability to sit at a desk for one or more hours at a time Ability to operate computer and other equipment in the office Applicants will be asked to provide verification of employment authorization in the United States COMPENSATION: · Competitive DOE BENEFITS AND PERKS: Medical, dental and vision Insurance Life and disability insurance 401(k) Plan Paid holidays, vacation and sick leave Employee discounts and assistance services Casual dress code Remote Work Flexible Company Description Interop Technologies is a global telecommunications service provider that is leading the mobile industry’s rapid transition to cloud-based IP networks and next generation communication solutions.
