POSITION PURPOSE Facilitate on-site operational flow. Link the entire operation among Unilink, Carriers and our customer's shipping department. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Coordinate that daily assigned loads are loaded to the correct trailer Coordinate that daily assigned loads are dispatched to the right carriers and the right destination. Make sure drivers obtain the correct paperwork and depart on time as indicated. Provide real time reporting with regard to actual load activity and departures. Take on site corrective actions in case of deviations to the load program. MAIN ACTIVITIES Check for trailers staged as Loaded that have not shipped. Sent report to Dispatch, loads picked up, loads ready and loads still running Provide drivers load paperwork Request drivers to sign paperwork Inform day shipping coordinators about load issues Make copies of BOLs and all paperwork that OUR CUSTOMER personnel requires Make copies of BOL’s and paperwork that Unlink HQ need to follow internal processes Review arrival trailers for damage and report Red Tags. Stay ahead of OUR CUSTOMER requests Each morning perform trailer physical inventory Sent trailer physical inventory to Unilink Management JOB SKILLS REQUIREMENTS Communication skills to cope with field and office personnel Ground Transportation and Logistics work experience Basic computer skills Office package Email Office equipment PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT Able to perform both in office and yard environment Benefits offered Paid time off 50% Paid by Employer Health insurance 50% Paid by Employer Dental insurance Salary: $42,000.00 per year Schedule: Night shift Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)
