Must be discharged from program for a full year. Responsibilities: Demonstrate safety as a core value and establish a safe work environment by exhibiting safe behaviors. Transport a variety of freight (including paper products, corrugated material, and household goods) nationwide. Inspect equipment for mechanical issues and safety concerns and report any defects. Maneuver tractors and trailers into loading or unloading positions. Transport equipment to local service center(s) to perform preventative maintenance. Document and log work/rest periods and notate mileage. Retain all paperwork, including BOL's, POD's, and fuel/toll receipts. Comply with all DOT and FMCSA rules and regulations (e.g. size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) along with all company policies and procedures.
