Job Description Job Description Capital City Electrical Services is a “full service” commercial, industrial and residential contractor located in Norcross, Georgia (ccelect.com) . We have been in business since 2006 and are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to oversee the sales process for our service department. Position Description As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the company’s entire sales process. Your role will be to support the sales team through talent acquisition, training and mentoring to ensure the team’s success in their roles. This position will also be responsible for managing pipelines, sales forecasting and successful closing of sales including understanding and review of contracts. This position will play a key role in the success of the overall company in meeting and exceeding annual targets and goals. Key Responsibilities Meet and Exceed Annual Team Targets Lead and motivate the Sales team to achieve and surpass sales targets Develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth and customer acquisition and retention Analyze market trends and adjust strategies accordingly Support, Develop and Mentor Sales Team Provide coaching, guidance and mentorship to Sales team Assist in customer meetings and sales presentations Conduct regular sales training to enhance knowledge and selling skills Recruit, Hire and Onboard New Sales Team Members Collaborate with HR to identify hiring needs and qualifications Participate in the recruitment and selection process Oversee the onboarding process for new Sales team members Sales Forecasting and Reporting Create and maintain sales forecasts with a high level of accuracy Track, review and submit accurate monthly commission reports Provide timely and detailed sales reports to the Executive team Process Improvement Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of team Implement best practices and tools to streamline workflows and sales operations Performance Review and Budget Alignment Participate in the creation of the annual budget Ensure team operates within allocated budget Regularly assess individual sales performance against set targets Develop and communicate corrective action plans when necessary Qualified Candidates will have: 3 years of proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar leadership role Electrical or similar industry experience Strong sales track record with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed targets Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close Excellent coaching, mentoring and people management skills Effective recruitment and onboarding experience Proficiency in sales forecasting, data analysis and reporting Exceptional communication and presentation skills Strong problem solving and process improvement abilities Be highly organized, detail oriented and results driven with the ability to meet deadlines Proficiency in MS Office Proficiency in CRM (Hubspot, Salesforce.
