The Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Water Quality, is seeking to fill an Office Associate II vacancy in Augusta. BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION:This position provides advanced office and administrative support for the Compliance, Enforcement, Engineering, Permitting, and Storm Water Units of the Division of Water Quality Management (DWQM) in the Bureau of Water Quality (BWQ). This position is responsible for a wide variety of tasks including: Routine and mass mailings Delivery of mail from the Ray and Marquardt Buildings to the Tyson Building Purchasing office supplies and equipment Photocopying Arranging for maintenance of office equipment and cubicles Maintaining webpage forms and links Editing and printing reports Organizing hard copy and electronic files Providing EFIS data system support Entering and review of GIS data Compiling, editing, and distributing the monthly Operations & Maintenance Newsletter to wastewater treatment plant operators and others through GOVdelivery.com This position provides travel support for the DWQM making travel, lodging, and conference reservations and assuring the necessary authorizations are received and receipts collected. This position supports the BWQ as back-up for the Bureau's Travel Coordinator and Purchasing Agent. The successful candidate must have extensive experience with Microsoft Word and entering data into a variety of databases using Excel, Access, and Oracle.
