Job Description Job Description 6-month temp to perm Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder No 3rd parties or C2C The Quality Engineer is responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance and control, ensuring that products meet customer expectations and comply with industry standards. This role involves managing Return Material Authorizations (RMAs)and Corrective Actions, overseeing Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities, conducting quality audits, and ensuring First Article Inspections (FAIs) are thoroughly performed. The Quality Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Disposition of customer returned product – Control of Non-conforming Product. Disposition of Internal and External Corrective Action Reponses (CAR) Analyze RMA data to identify trends and root causes of product failures. Communicate with customers regarding RMA status and resolutions. QMS internal audits Support the Quality Team with special process audits NADCAP (National Aerospace & Defense Contractor Accreditation Program) Collaboration with Engineering regarding customer complaints and product work instruction revisions Skills: Oversee the PPAP process to ensure compliance with customer requirements and industry standards. Experience: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent with 5 or more years’ experience in Quality Control / Quality Engineering Extensive familiarity of ISO 9001 / AS9100 Quality System Standards and QMS (Quality Management System) Preferred experience in development of APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) Please send resume to Kevin.Shusterambassadorresources.com
