Job Description Job Description Architectural Sandblaster - Conley, GA Daily: 1. Apply sandblast to sample panel as directed by Supervisor 2. Sandblast process includes various chemicals and materials such as; sand, acid wash, and/or sealers 3. Consult with Supervisor, Plant Manager, Sales Staff, etc. to match sandblasted panel to customer’s requirements 4. Apply light, medium, or heavy sandblast to flat panels, spandrels, columns, etc. and match sandblast to customer’s requirements and expectations 5. Apply dry finish to concrete members during periods of inclement weather or when sandblasting is not scheduled 6. Wash retarder of members with exposed aggregate finish Summary of Primary Functions: Applies sandblast to sample panel for approval by Customer. Applies light, medium, or heavy sandblast to members after sample is approved Machines, Tools, and Equipment Used: Sandblasting hose and nozzle, sandblasting equipment, silo, hard hat, steel-toed boots, protective suit, high pressure washer, safety equipment to include respirator, etc Materials Used: Sand, patching material, etc
