Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sr. Technical Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and documenting business requirements, conducting technical feasibility studies, QA, provide third tier support, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive the implementation and maintenance of software applications.

Essential Functions

  • Possesses functional knowledge of assigned application technology including version releases, industry standards and legal & regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct technical feasibility studies and provide recommendations for implementing innovative solutions.
  • Designs and executes functional, integration, and regression test plans for new and existing application functionality, product releases and enhancement and regulatory modifications using business scenarios and user cases, as appropriate.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, technical product manager, and subject matter experts, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Diagnoses and resolves client questions or problems in the areas of system configuration/setup, product functionality and bugs/enhancements.
  • Perform data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy and integrity systems.
  • Provide end-user support and training on new system functionalities.
  • Delivers functional specifications, design documents, business process workflow and related documentation for new development projects and/or enhancement and modification requests.
  • Participates in the software build and/or configuration process and testing process.
  • Knowledge transfer and documentations of issue resolution with other team members to improve overall team education level and productivity.
  • Take complete ownership for the assigned tasks, including escalations, and proactively inform the progress of the project / task to all stakeholders

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a technical environment, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of medical coding and billing processes, including ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and reporting purposes.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of Agile methodology
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
