Qualifications



RS&H is currently seeking a Senior Principal Environmental Consultant to join our team in the Moving I-4 Forward Program Office in Celebration, FL. As part of this team, you'll serve an integral role in leading the environmental permitting activities, including but not limited to preparing and/or processing Federal/State environmental permit applications, including plans, permit sketches, environmental documents, and engineering reports. Additionally, in this role, you'll be responsible for review and approval of environmental permit application packages prepared by others for the projects associated with the Moving I-4 Forward program.

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited program and 20 years relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Have proven experience leading the development and implementation of new services, processes, standards, or operational plans with significant impact on the achievement of results, making decisions and recommendations that have a long-term impact (3 to 5 years) on the organization, and serving as a manager and discipline leader in effectively directing and controlling issues affecting a company or program.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Have proven ability to successfully address challenging or potentially controversial issues in a sound professional and business-like manner.
  • Possess excellent oral and written communications skills, including ability to communicate with senior leadership on matters of strategic importance.
  • Have the ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships with clients, customers, contractors, team members, and other key stakeholders.
