Overview

Arts & Science is seeking a dynamic Graduate Program Administrator to join the Department of Biology. This individual will coordinate and implement policies, programs, and activities associated with graduate programs within the department of biology, including academic advisement, student registration; graduate assistantship and intramural and extramural fellowships; class scheduling, student recruitment; alumni relations.



Responsibilities

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience:
3+ years relevant experience, including advising on program or service options, and planning various activities and events.

Preferred Experience:
Experience in a higher education environment.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to market programs, solve problems and interact with individuals at all levels. Proficiency in word-processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.



Qualifications

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $67,500.00 to USD $75,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
