Job Description Job Description A global tubular company in Houston, TX is seeking an Inventory Associate with experience in reconciling inventory using Microsoft Excel. The Inventory Associate provides excellent customer and vendor services by performing the functions necessary for managing, creating, receiving, and tracking inventory in accordance with Company policies and procedures. The inventory Associate manages data that is crucial for ensuring accurate stock control, efficient operations, and effective supply chain management. Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to : Assist Inventory Coordinator to conduct monthly rack inventory reconciliation between company’s inventory records and all third-party storage warehouse records. Update all inventory yard movements and yard transfers in the ERP system. Troubleshoot inventory issues, handle management requests, and any special inventory related assignments. Weekly inventory review (reports and dashboards). Visit yards to analyze the condition of OCTG for quarterly maintenance exercise. Assist with variances, inventory reconciliations. Prepare, submit, and finalize documents to the insurance company related to insurance claims and mill’s when related to mill claims. Prepare and submit documents to the quality department (as needed) related to mill and insurance issues. Maintain claim log and accounting claim account, provide monthly reports as needed. Request quotes with third party yards for maintenance on pipes and claims. Process returns in TubeStream requesting quotes for repairs and segregating pipe and initiate credit to beissue. Company liaison between IT, Operations, Sales, and Accounting. Participate in yard visits for PipeSales photos. Participate in annual physical inventory counts. Assist in updating internal policies and documents. Familiar with MS AX, MITI’s ERP system, as it relates to inventory (search, reporting, etc.)and provide system assistance to staff as needed. Familiar with PipePlus user and assist with management of data in the system. Familiar with a variety of the f field’s concepts, practices, and procedures. Understand and comply with Company compliance programs (JSOX, QMS), U.S. customs laws, andensure all processes follow regulations. Other duties as assigned Requirements: High School Diploma Associates degree, college business courses preferred 2 years of experience in Pipe Industry, Yard, Inventory and/or administration or a relevant combination ofexperience and education. General knowledge of shipping and logistics operations Strong Interpersonal & communication skill Customer service oriented General accounting knowledge Ability to prioritize Excellent computer skills (MS Office) Punctual, Conscientious, Detail Oriented, Organized, Task Oriented
