Position
Exotech is searching for a dynamic individual to become part of our maintenance team. As Exotech evolves into a larger company we need an efficient team member that has experience in repairs and maintenance with a variety of manufacturing and factory equipment (both light and heavy duty). We need someone who can become part of our growing company and have the vision to work with a team to develop and implement new procedures.

Compensation, Benefits, Schedule, and Location
Compensation: The salary range is $28 to $30 per hour + Generous Bonus
Benefits: Generous paid time off, medical insurance, life insurance and short-term disability insurance is covered at 100% for the employee, vision, dental, and long-term disability insurance, and 401k employer matching up to 4% of salary
Schedule: Regular work hours are generally 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with flexibility
Location: This position requires the Maintenance Mechanic III to work at the Facility in Pompano Beach, FL.

Responsibilities
Performs preventive maintenance as scheduled in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS Limble).
Create and close out work orders with data including, labor hours, equipment maintenance and parts used in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS Limble).
Performs effectively as a team member, able to work well with others, open to receive and give feedback, and treats everyone with respect.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and work to quickly resolve the problem to ensure the timely placement back into production.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures and regulations including wearing all Personal Protective Equipment and using tools and equipment according to proper safety requirements.
Work from prints, schematics, diagrams, or general instructions to diagnose and repair equipment both electrical and mechanical.
Communicate with Director of Manufacturing Operations, supervisors, and other employees about status of equipment.
Evaluate the level of repair needed for building systems including air conditioning, plumbing, chemical plant machinery, etc.
Coordinate installation of new equipment and repair activity with other members of the maintenance team as well outside subcontractors, as required.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent related experience required.
5+ years of experience as an industrial mechanical or electrical maintenance technician; troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Ability to do wiring, soldering, and working with electronic test equipment (meters, scopes, and other test equipment).
Ability to read electronic schematics test and troubleshoot problems on machines or in control panels.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and mechanical drawings.
Be able to work with other employees as a Team Player.
A demonstrated level of understanding that involves hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical dynamics is required.
Ability to work independently.
Metal fabrication with MIG and TIG welding process experience preferred.
Ability to operate manual milling machine and lathe. Ability to do light machining utilizing manual lathes or manual milling machines.
Experience working with OEM's is very important.
Required to read and write English and follow verbal instructions, including drawings and OEM repair manuals and on-line resources.
Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment, be detailed oriented, and focused.
Flexibility and self-motivation are required.
